So, what's this blog about?

Well, I’m glad you asked, because I’ve got some explaining to do in terms of the Changing Fire Universe:

The Changing Fire Universe centers on the events that take place after the 9/11 attacks in New York and Washington DC. A group of Atlantean demigods declare war on the United States as that country struggles to recover after the attacks. While the United States strikes back against its enemies, the demigods work to destroy the country and its allies through plagues, epidemics, and disasters.

At the same time, a group of Ainysians struggle to defend the United States (and humanity) against the wrath of the demigods, seeing as not all Americans should be blamed for the sins their ancestors committed since the country's founding. Also, the Trichenberg family (descended from an Ainysian rebel) must decide if they should defend humanity or allow the demigods to destroy them.

These are the stories of the Atlanteans who live among humans and the humans who get tangled up in the world the Atlanteans live in. There are also monsters, spellcasters, and magical creatures who live among humans.
