About the 9/11 Attacks...
Set aside what you think you know about the 9/11 attacks and know this: in 1911, a group of Atlantean demigods headed by King Petyr Flamesteam and his wife, Queen Osane, met in the city of Archangelsk, Russia. They had witnessed the decline of humanity and the moral depravity that threatened to destroy their exiled race. After careful consideration, the demigods decided to give humanity a second chance to basically get their act together and stop their bad behavior.
As you can see, after that meeting, two world wars broke out, over 25 million people were killed, and to make matters worse, incurable diseases ran rampant through the world, killing many more people. Plus, there was the violence that took the lives of many more people. This angered the demigods so much that they decided that humanity needed to be punished.
So on September 11, 2001, as four airplanes smashed into the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington DC, and a field outside Shankville, Pennsylvania, the demigods unleashed their full wrath upon humanity in the form of a series of fiery green explosions that killed not only twice the amount of people killed in the initial attacks, but the fire changed from orange to blue. That fire killed many more people who stopped what they were doing to watch the changing fire.
At this, the events of 9/11 was relegated to the attacks; the blame was placed on a very cruel man who many people hated. At the same time, most people had forgotten about the changing fire, even if they had seen it and many people died in that fire.
Yet the United States government secretly investigated the fire, asking many Atlanteans living in the United States about the strange fire. But very few people knew about the fire, as most of the exiled Atlanteans had abandoned their religion after the Seven Pillars Temple was bombed in 1872.

But the Trichenberg family (who lost several members to the attacks and the fire) are determined to find the answers to why the fire happened, as well as find and destroy the man responsible for the 9/11 attacks. How they accomplished those goals is for another blog post.
